All pinhole pictures on this site were taken with home-made cameras. They are made of those black cans, that 35mm film comes in. With the pinhole in a piece of a coke can, taped over a bigger hole in the film can, and some black electrical tape for a shutter, the basic camera is ready to go. The 35mm film is loaded in small pieces and stuck to the can with some scotch- tape. The red sticker on top tells me if the can is exposed and the numbers help me find the right exposure time, since each can has a different pinhole size. That is about all the secret there is to my pictures. For any further questions, fell free to email me at pinholesite@q-fladen.de now.

One more thing I have to admit. I am not a very good non-pinhole photographer. That's why these conventional photos are a good demonstration of what is so wrong with lens photography. It is obvious that I could have done better, chosen a better perspective, a different f-stop, or more or less light. In contrast to this, pinhole pictures just happen. It it turns out any good, your lucky, if it doesn't, there will always be an  opportunity for the next great picture, so keep on shooting.
